Today my bike was caught in between the line of fire of a bird and the ground. Hence my bike got hit by one of its "bullet". What an awful sight, I must say. But in turn, my girlfriend who was beside me said, " Bird shit means good luck." 
I was reflecting on it and was quite amused. Of course, my girlfriend meant it in a nice way, trying to cheer me up. But still, how could people be so gullible. Who the hell started this nonsense that bird shit means good luck. So being me I went to google on it. Who started this bullshit, or rather bird shit. I couldn't found the people who started this weird culture in Singapore. But more interestingly, people all around the world believe that bird shit brings good luck.
For example in Rome, people there will not laugh at you at all but instead will smile and congratulate you for being lucky. In fact, one blogger accounts, the whole city is filled with bird dropping. The authorities or anyone are not allow to kill these pigeons. Everywhere there's bird shit. Car owners there don't wipe off the bird shit because 1) it brings good luck and 2) I think they couldn't be bothered. As soon as their cars leave their garage "shits" starts flying towards their cars. I think I can imagine them with umbrellas, trying to shelter themselves from raining bird shits.
At least here, we are lucky that our government control the population of this pest. I don't want to smell like shit when I'm meeting my girlfriend. Still, Im determine more than ever to find out the guy who is responsible for this mis-teachings.

Gosh! i hate PIE! I feel it is the most dangerous expressway in Singapore. Due to inconsiderate drivers especially. Firstly, there's massive jam everywhere along the expressway. Once drivers clear the jam, they speed impulsively and then stop again for another jam. The dangerous part is not the jam, but the part when drivers speed after the jam. It's freaking scary. I believe it's due to their notion that they are late after the hold-up in the jam. But hello there dumb drivers. Just because you're rich doesn't mean you have the right to take life of other road users. So what if the court have charged you guilty of dangerous driving? Your licence would be revoked and you'd be fined. At most you will be jail, not exceeding 12 months. Plus it is not a criminal offence. It's just a traffic offence. That's all. Case closed!! For killing someone, that's all you get. I have heard of a petty thief who got jailed for 2 years for stealing a can of sardines. All that and the record is for life. My god! The severity of a crime has been mixed up. What have the world come to?
Please drivers, relax k. You guys are in the comfort of your vehicle. You guys got air-con, a leather seat on your bum and a radio to listen to. (Some even have TVs. Please don't watch!!!) At 80km/h, you can't feel how much power your car is generating because you are in a "container". But at 80km/h, a motorist is well aware of the speed he is riding. Just do what they teach you guys in the driving centre. Especially the 2-second rule.  Courtesy does come a long way.

hi.. thanks for spending your precious time on my never-ever updated blog. I have nothing to share throughout the year. Even if I do, my girlfriend would have posted it on her blog already. heh.. Ok.. So why the sudden appearance of my blog? Well, my girlfriend forced me into it. As a matter a fact, she is sitting right beside me while Im posting this entry.
It has been an exhilarating experience so far, so I guess i would update my blog after this entry.. That would be my resolution for 2009!! *cross fingers :|*
